The project consists of supervising the supply and implementation of the mobility management system through the installation and technology transfer of both software and hardware, training and/or training in the use of the equipment installation, the creation of manuals, diagrams, technical specifications and all the information necessary for the installation, implementation, maintenance and operation of the equipment, ensuring mobility in El Salvador and the proper functioning of the equipment.
The aim of the project is to obtain a control system or centre by supplying and installing a network of traffic lights at 350 intersections located in the departments of San Salvador, La Libertad, San Miguel, Santa Ana, Sonsonate and Ahuachapán.
In addition, the project includes a system of compliance with standards, using video detectors, speed meters, lane invasion, pedestrian lane invasion, which will be installed at intersections according to studies that determine a higher degree of accident rate. Another of its scope includes the installation of dynamic weighing scales for the control of heavy transport loads.
