The purpose of the project is the design of a photovoltaic panels plant capable of producing a power of up to 200 kW, in order to power the well pumping equipment, which is currently connected to the grid.
For this purpose, an installation consisting of a photovoltaic panel generator, consisting of 500 panels of 450 W, arranged in modules of 25 units connected in series (string) and with a voltage of 800V, has been planned. Each string is connected to the general junction box, from which it is connected to the hybrid type regulator-inverter (2 units in total for the whole installation), which transforms direct current (dc) into alternating current (ac), with the same power supply voltage of the pump panel. The power of the photovoltaic generator is the first to be consumed and, in the event that the necessary energy is not available, it is supplemented with the energy supplied by the grid.
The described action will make it possible to inject irrigation water directly into the entire network under pressure, without having to store it in regulating reservoirs, thus reducing future investment in regulating elements and reducing losses due to evaporation and leaks. On the other hand, in the event that the well were to reduce its renewable flow and suffer a concession restriction, this solar energy could be used to pump water from the Júcar-Vinalopó transfer, the route of which runs in the vicinity of the current Toscar well.
The project includes the following actions:
- Clearing and leveling of plot 43 of polygon nº 15, in a total area of 3,600 m2.
- Foundations for the photovoltaic panel structures.
- Installation of the photovoltaic generation field 500 units (structures plus panels), conduits, regulators, inverters and panels.
