The project will be developed in the capital city of the Republic of Nicaragua, Managua, under three types of areas of influence: study area, planning area and project location area. As part of the scope of the project, it is to carry out a conceptual, functional and operational design, including a study of the relocation of urban and interurban bus terminals in the municipality of Managua, multimodal integration stations; feeder routes, conventional routes, bicycle and pedestrian routes, and complementary works. (operational returns, workshop yards, parking area for BRT, private vehicles and other modes of transport, traffic light control centre,
SITP control center, including BRT, among others required and identified
during the study).

VIELCA Ingenieros, in a consortium, is carrying out as an initial plan the vehicle counts necessary for the design of the new roads of the capital, which will initiate the designs that will make up the Demand Mobility and Public Transport project of the city of Managua, acting jointly with the Mayor’s Office of Managua and the National University of Engineering – UNI.
